Dr. Martina Paz Aguilera qualified in medicine and surgery and trained as an ophthalmologist at the University of Chile, graduating with highest distinction. In Barcelona she completed two fellowships at IMO Grupo Miranza: Anterior Segment, and Cornea and Refractive Surgery. She is currently part of the Cornea Unit at Hospital General de Granollers, where she is leading the reactivation of corneal transplantation after five years without complex corneal surgery being performed, and is involved in the medical and surgical management of corneal disease. To her solid training she adds attentive, compassionate and genuine care, focused on the wellbeing of each patient.
